What is your Brand Essence?
First of all, it is important that we establish one thing. Most people when they think about branding, think about the logo, color, fonts and imagery. This is your visual identity.
Branding is a lot more than this.
It not only refers to your visual identity but it also encompasses aspects such as your mission, ethos and your personal voice. For most Craft Business owners who often work solo, it also reflects your personal journey and identity.
Done well, this will make you stand out from the crowd. There are no 2 people like you, your journey, your work and your personality are yours and yours alone and this is what is going to attract your customers. Let your Brand reflect that.
So as you can see there are many aspects that we need to cover to create a consistent brand but today we are going to concentrate on your brand essence.
So what is exactly your brand essence?
Your brand essence is the soul of your business, the values it stands for, the feelings it ignites and the guidance it offers as your business grows and evolves.
To figure your own brand essence, here are a few questions that I would like you to work with.
